Was wondering if anybody could give me an update on ice thickness at sylvan. Any replies are greatly appreciated.

I haven't been there for 2 weeks but last time I was there the ice was solid and close to 2.5 feet thick off range road 23. I doubt it's changed much but the access points might be getting soft.

Was there yesterday. 20 inches of ice. Lots of slush by the end of the day.

Last weekend we were there both days. We walked on then. On Sunday there were quite a few small cracks throughout and lots of shifting during the day. I think there was an update posted under the ice conditions thread but my apologies if not. Good whitefish in 15 fow on sandy bottom if you can trick them into thinking your hook is a burbot egg (copper or brownish).

18 inches off rr23. Good ice too. Probably 10 trucks on.

made it out yesterday. whatever was happening shallow is over. we wasted our morning trying a ton of shallow spots and saw zero. finally found em in 15' of water and limited out in a few hours!
about 1" of water on the surface on the way out and the first 2' of ice along shore broke under our weight. game over man!!
