That looks about average... Just kidding, that's pretty good, but in general the pumps shoot a whole lot better than people give them credit for, I've never had one that wouldn't do 1.5" or better. How short did you cut down the barrel?

I just picked up a real old one the other day in 30-06, its got the old style action bar that attaches to the barrel. Must be early to mid 50's I think.

My dad passed his 760 in .308 down to me years ago. I shot my first whitetail and moose with it. I passed it onto my step-son who shot his first whitetail and mule deer with it. His daughter will one day have the opportunity to harvest her first animal with it. Just 11 more years to wait until that can happen.

Pump great gun . Killed whatever you were shooting at
Had one in 308 and currently have a 243 rechambered to 2-284 way too accurate for a pump with Weighted brass and projectiles Under 1/2" moa .

I have had my first Rem pump for the past 40 years or so and have picked up another two over the years. They have been reliable and as accurate as I needed. All are in 30-06. Great rifles IMO.

Those are 155gr Amax's doing a tad over 2800fps at the muzzle.

150 BTSP's do almost as good, but I'm hanging on to the last box or so, for big game hunting.

I did manage to go to 300 yards on some steel as well. 6"-7" of hold over had me smacking a 4" square, 4 for 4.

That'll do!!!
