I had a Hoyt Charger which is basically the same. Might be the best entry level bow of all the big bow companies. Bowtech also makes a good entry level bow.

I tried one out when I bought my bow, personally it didn't feel right for me. But it seemed like a solid package for the price and I hear lots of good things about them.

I picked one up last fall and I love it. So smooth and no recoil. Try it, you won't be sad.
