Default Breaking in new strings

How many arrows should I expect to shoot before my new bowtech string is broken in?

I'm no expert but when I bought my bow I was told to shoot about 200 - 300 arrows before I could play with my peep as I was having peep twist issues with my factory strings. I had aftermarket strings put on recently and that took care of the peep twist.

100-200 should have it settled, then have it tuned up.

I don't have any recent experience with factory bowtech strings but they could be pre stretched or they might continue to stretch for as long as you've got them on your bow. More likely they'll settle within a hundred shots or so.
Next time you buy strings get a quality aftermarket set and they'll never stretch. I've run schmidty's specialty strings on every bow I've owned since about 2008. I start tuning as soon as I put them on and never had a set move. That's said there are many quality string builders, just find one you like.

Thanks,

When you say tune it up, what do you mean, just readjust the D loop and sight in? Or more

Adjust for ata spec length, cam lean, peep twist, paper tune, etc.

I've only changed strings once

Jim Bows advised me to shoot 200 times before they would tune

They know more than me so I just listened.
