I'm headed on my first sheep hunt this year. Anybody got any tips or little pointers I should know?

Once you find a sheep haunt ( that is haunt, not hunt) they move back again and again, if the have water and browse , they will be back, unless there is much dusturbance / activity

Many hunter make a mistake,, trying to CHASE the sheep, find where the sheep are comfortable, if you don't get close Monday, you might not Tuesday, but maybe Thrusday or Friday, spend your time aloft where sheep live, grassing and being carefull not to outline yourself on the horizon, follow trails and look for feed areas, bedding areas,

If there is a lot of droppings in a particular area, and the droppings look like different stages of decay ??? That means the sheep return there, again and again,

You might spend several seasons trying, possibly many

Be in excellent shape when you go.

All the planning, fancy rifles, range time, expensive gear, scouting, etc won't mean squat if you talk yourself out of the climbing when the time comes.
