Default Goose call tuning

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get my call tuned? I have a foiles straight meat honker and the reed is stripped. I can't get ahold of foiles migrators so I don't really want to send it to them as I've tried calling them for the last 2 months. I've left multiple messages but haven't heard a thing back so I feel like if I send them my call I might not get it back. Anyone know where I can get a new reed amd have it retuned? Thanks

I think Jeff Foiles may be out of business and may have gone underground .
Don't send anything to them

Search threads here under " SpudsIslander" he had a step by step thread in about 2010 or so. He was good , I think he was in the RCAF in cold lake and must have moved as he has not been active for a long time. I sent one to him while he was in cold lake very good guy that new his goose falls.

I can retune it for you next time im up that way. If the guts are worn out I have a mallard green SMH sitting on the shelf doing nothing I'd let go cheap. Foiles didnt go out of business but they renamed it to ROK outdoors. I will also let you try some Molt gear calls.

Default Call tuning

Pay the shipping and I will tune it up. If the guts are "worn in" they you DON"T want to part with them as they will sound like a $million. Worn in or "broken in" guts are what companies sell in their calls as it gives the call a much nicer, deeper, fuller sound. The reed with blister and break, so part with it and replace with a new one.Tuning on a short reed is very finicky but not difficult once you figure it out.
