Default Gophers are out!

There's still a lot of snow about, but the gophers are out! Seeing them run around on the snow sure makes them easy to spot.

Four less than the beginning of the day, though, Lol. That 410 shotgun sure does a nice job on them.

Saw one east of Lloydminster last week, it was a big fatty too!
it had to dig up through a couple feet of snow to reach daylight

I saw them too in the city around Lethy. We took a drive yesterday south of Coaldale on some grid roads and didn't find a damn thing except a skunk, magpies and a couple pigeons. Looking forward the weekend after this warm week!
