Default Renewed PAL - Conditions Slip

Renewed my PAL on line Oct 2 and arrived in mail today so I'm quite happy with that turn around. Accompanying new card is the Conditions portion of the page. Says to be ready to present to Officer upon request and carry with the card.

Has anyone ever been asked to produce this paper to an officer?
What type of Special conditions would there be?

I have none.

I have the condition attached that I do not need an ATT every time my restricted firearms go to the range or other approved locations.

Pathetic, but was a step in the right direction.

How is that a step in the right direction? It was a step sideways... instead of having to carry an ATT you have to carry the conditions card.

Is it only for restricted? If so leave a copy with each restricted so that you don’t have to always remember it.

Supposed to carry the conditions card anyway, even if there aren't any.

From the conditions document:
"Carry this document with your license card as you must be able to produce this document on demand if requested by a peace officer or other authority."

Always carry it with me but have always been wondering why do we have to? It is always behind my rpal card in the wallet. Switched wallets not long ago and obviously forgot that I even had it. Luckily I did not throw out the other wallet, so I still have the stupid paper, now in the new wallet.

I know at least one guy who never read anything on the paper his rpal came with and just tossed it all except for the card itself. Does anyone know what would happen if one does not have this piece of paper?

Which I think is retarded.

Print it on the back of the PAL like I think they do on drivers licenses.

It's not like they aren't printing on your PAL in the first place.

Shhhh, don’t say things that make sense lol

You’d think they would. They already print that conditions are attached to it, why not just print the conditions?

HAHA, I know right.

If they did that, they would probably have to go work for a private company rather than gov. Can't have no sense making folk working for the gov.

True.

But at least the condition applies to all your restricted firearms, you don't need a separate piece of paper for each.

The paper is an example of how ridiculous the firearms bureaucracy is in this country.

"Here is a convenient card that shows you can posses certain firearms. Also, here is a fragile piece of paper that adds absolutely no information, you have to carry it too."

I have never been asked. In fact I was hunting once and I was stopped by a CO and I didn't have my PAL on me (mountain trip and I didn't bring my whole wallet for weight reasons, forgot to pull out my card.) All the CO did was take all my info and he said he would check it out when he got back to the office, if I didn't have one I'd be in trouble and if I did no problem.

A friend and I got checked out after doing some stump shooting at a remote lake. Turned out that there was an anti-gun family camping on the other side of the lake and called the cops.
The experience was great, asked for the cards (never mentioned the papers), gave us some fishing tricks for the lake, and went on their way
