Default To be or not to be.

So i just purchased this Leupold scope
Its pretty hard to find being a FFP.
A friend of mine really really wants it and offered 200 above retail to buy it from me. I am considering it and replacing with a Viper Pst Gen 2. FFP as well
My gut says no , I really like my LRP , so my question is how do these compare? In many ways they will do the same job, but what are your guys experience?

I have 3 x Sightron S3 FFP scopes, have owned a gen 1 PST.

The glass on this one is pretty close to the S3, and has a very simple but effective reticle. Best buy for the buck IMO at this price.

Keep the Leupold. The $200 you make on it won't compensate for the feeling you settled for second best every time you use the other scope you didn't want in the first place....

X3 this would be a decision, you would regret in the end! Having used both brands. I won't bash vortex, but I will speak highly of Leupold!

I've owned a lot of different high end scopes over the years. I was very leery of purchasing a Vortex (I had issues with a 1-4 PST Gen 1) as well as constantly hearing about their excellent warranty (I would rather the product did not fail in the first place!). I recently purchased a 3-15 PST Gen II FFP MRAD 30mm tube and 50mm objective with the EBR-2C reticle and am very very happy with the purchase so far. In fact I just ordered another one.

No experience with the Gen 2 Viper (did they upgrade the glass), but I personally find the Leupold VX-3i glass to be a little cleared than my Viper HS glass. I do like both scopes for the money though!
