That would be a fisher. Great capture. Not an easy critter to get a picture of.

nice picture I would be thinking it is a fisher or a wolverine hard to tell with just the head. almost looks to big for a fisher

NOT A FISHER ,its a young golden lab pup , likley the landowners or the nieghbers , or a drop off stray , definatly hungrey , l blew the pic up 200 times definately a pup even seen a collar on it

Sure looks like a pup to me. With an enhanced image, the log pointed ears can be seen clearly. Just a young dog, comparing its size to the buckets.

This is a picture of a fisher from wikipedia they look very similair to me.
Also it does not look like the general posturing of a dog.
