I believe it.

I have seen body panels buckle with not much pressure from someone leaning on them.

YMMV.

Any trucks in the parking lot at the time? Sounds like someone backed into you with a hitch. I'd check for some paint before going after a guy who put on a windshield wiper. He'd have to have a lot of weight pushing against the car to do that, and can't see it if he's bent over trying to switch out wiper blades.

And enough to not be able to open the door? I've seen/bent lots of panels usually right in the middle and it took force. Never bent one so bad the door wouldn't open.

I was parked beside the entrance. There was no physical way to hit the front end of my vehicle, unless the building jumped up and moved.
The damage was assed by an insurance adjuster who I never spoke to until after he saw my vehicle. He asked if someone had pressed into the vehicle with a knee. I had not told him or insurance that the guy had worn a metal knee brace and pressed against it.

Saturday morning was the 1st time he had ever been in my seat or tried opening my door.
Please remember this vehicle was purchased on Monday night. A complete pdi was done.

This is the reason he got a dirty look from me for putting his dirty/dusty shoes on my seats and he tried to get out.

Unless he's Ironman it seems a little far fetched.
The pressure wasn't downwards, and I suspect your behind isn't reinforced with a steel brace either nor do you put your weight against the edge.

Did you get a carfax with the vehicle? Was the vehicle ever in an accident or have rebuilt status?

Your a little shy by 45lbs...and if your vertically challenged then you apply more force over a smaller area throw in a brace lets just say the fella is less than graceful...

Default sorry to hear ...

Not hard to bend dodge body parts these days, chit get aggressive with the car wax and you can leave shallow dents !

what a PITA to deal with, had an experience with the lube shops back a few yrs - never been back.

transfer case drain plug - overtightened.

drip - drip - drip

$2500 dollar repair.

TBD

PS ... nowadays - I service my vehicles -- myself !

How come your taking a new vehicle you just purchased with a pdi from a dealer to a lube shop for a oil change and wiper blades? That sounds suspect in it's self.

Fixed it for you.

Bodyman for over 35 years, they all bend and buckle, if you find the right pressure point it doesn't take much effort.

Is there a picture of the actual damage and not just a MS Paint drawings?

Seems like the quarter panel would have to be pushed back and in to keep the door from opening. I used to be 265 and was never able to damage body panels by leaning on them.

I worked for Mr.Lube for 3 or 4 years just out of high school, I HIGHLY recommend to anyone and everyone to NOT go there. I could tell you stories till the cows come home.
