Just one last reminder. If I saw 4 bears last night sitting my bait that means its not spot and stalk.
In 10 years I have seen 8 bears that were nowhere near my baits but I dont look for them randomly in 330 because the ones I want to see are by my baits.

That RD Hunter is full of it and should really be more responsible when it comes to our wildlife .. as in using it for fabrications and publicity ..or do you care..and OH kw12 are you an adult

The thread is about bears by Rocky.
How am I full of it or why do I want publicity? Man I have missed something here big time.
Anyway. Cheap entertainment. Sorry for exposing your bear meat sanctuary. Lots of bears there but not easy to harvest one. Ten years of hard going and I am seeing the fruits of my labor.
They are there. Not extinct just yet.
And to be honest I have seen 6 elk. 1 moose. And a million whities in those zones in 10 yrs.
Not handing out booner unicorns.

Im absolutely blown away by the turn this thread has taken, and ive watched more than my fair share go way off track, lol.
Rio56, you didnt prove anything on this thread even though you seem to think you have.....off bait means away from the bait. At least thats how I refer to random bears I see in the area I bait. So to make it clear, if I see 3 bears ON my bait in a night, then one driving out, I would say I saw 1 bear OFF bait.
Anyway, from a relatively simple question this thread has just gotten weird.

Yes there are bears west of rocky. I've heard it can be pretty good for spot and stock on the north side of the nordeg river.

Yes indeed there are bears west of RMH, just pitifully few, like elk, moose, and mule deer. People who claim differently are uninformed or more likely dreaming.
