Default Red Deer Archery Center?

Just curious if anyone can help me out with the state of RDAC? I've heard a few things in the rumor mill that Pat had closed shop but I can seem to get confirmation. Does anyone know if they are now officially closed, or closing?

Same strange answer everytime for the listed number. Sounds like Pat's voice for a brief second and then a 'leave your message after the tone'

I'm going so stop by myself as well I think. I live about half an hour away and thought maybe somebody on here would know right away and save me the trip. Turns out I need to head into RD regardless now

My wife tried to get me a gift there for Christmas. Pat had to close down shop as the insurance rates are too high to have an open range from what my wife was told. I tried to get some of Pats fletching jigs but she has yet to return my call. The archery club still has the range open on evenings and weekends from what I have been told.

Sad to loose such a great asset to the community she was a huge help selling my old bow and buying my new one.

When I turned up, the sign is gone and the proshop is closed. Very sad to lose such a great establishment.

The Red Deer Archery center is still open !
Pat and the pro shop are gone...Not because of Insurance though.

Its going to take a change for the better in the near future ...That's all I am going to say for now without getting into the politics of recent changes.

My son is on the Executive that's how I know what's going on..

I guess its time to update this Thread. For those in the Red Deer area you owe it to yourself to check out the new Updated Red Deer Archery center which is now the New Wolverine Archery Lanes . Jamie and Bryan have given this place an incredible face lift.
the Pro shop is incredible and have an excellent line of archery tackle that they have moved here from the Wolverine Guns and tackle shop.
The hours are now 9-5 open everyday and the club stuff in the evenings.
There is a great viewing area that is enclosed with glass and comfy couches..

Its no longer scary coming in the stairwell with all the stored trash that was stored there.
Check it out you wont be disappointed ..

Default Face lift

Face lift is one thing but are the pro shop staff knowledgeable ? Or is it the same old same old ? Wonderful place to check out all the bows etc shoot some as well but as for setting up bows , well in the past not the best . Time will tell I guess Pat and her staff will be missed .

Hours are now .....
Sunday , 10 - 5:30
Monday , 10:00 - 9:00
Tuesday , 10:00 - 9:00
Wednesday , 10:00 - 9:00
Thursday , 10:00 - 9:00
Friday , 10:00 - 9:00
Saturday 9 - 5:30

There is now also a safe Viewing area behind glass and some comfy couches and a table. this is nice for people that just want to come watch , or for little ones to be in a safe spot to hang out while the rest of the family get to do some shooting.
They have a Great selection of Bows to choose from , Prime being one of the newest ones.. I reassure you the friendly Staff will take care of everyone's needs. And yes they are knowledgeable.

Check their Facebook page. I think they have a small proshop set up there and I THINK there is stuff for sale, but I can't say for sure. I'm not affiliated at all, I've just seen them posting a lot on FB all week about being out there set up for provincials this weekend

Check Facebook, small booth with some items and yes there is a rack of bows there. At the Innisfail arena, no practice range though.
