St. Paul is having their shoot April 22 & 23. New location for the shoot is the curling rink. Does anybody know if there is somewhere to park an RV for the weekend?

This years 2017 Bowhunter Challenge Final has been awarded to:

Woodlands Archers, Whitecourt Fish and Game Club

The shoot will be held the weekend August 12-13, 2017 perfect timing to bring out your hunting rigs and make sure things are all dialed in. If you don't hunt, bring out your target rigs for a fun weekend of non-competitive shooting. ALL Archers are welcome.

Please stay tuned here for more information on the shoot!

We have received several question regarding our up coming shoot as to whether it is open to the public, "All we can say is YES". All archers are welcome, youth, adults with either their compounds or traditional bows in hand.

So can a new guy just show up and have a good time at something like the sherwood park shoot? Open to non-members and varying skill levels?

Is yardage normally marked or should you have a rangefinder along? I'd suppose some shoots are estimate your own yardage as well?

Yardage will be marked but I have learned not to trust the stake

Bring your rangefinder you might find the distances different than the stake says.

Up until this year all shoots were unmarked no rangefinders clubs are trying to get more folks out by having marked yardage.
