Made in Halifax, my home town ! And not even a 10 minute drive from my old house.

I will take your word for that! I have been around rifles and scopes for over 50 years and have never heard that name.

Armament Technology (in the recent 2-3 years), purchased the assets and tooling of Premier Reticle in bankrupcy.
They are providing service and some warranty? for Premier Reticle products.
Tangent Theta, like Premier reticles, sources their glass from EU (probably Shott?), but has redesigned the turrets and other scope functions.

I suspect they are selling most of their production to military users, and Canadian Government FOI reports that these or very similar goods have been supplied to the 'moderate' Kurd and Kiev forces as part of NATO 'training' missions. Some of these military small arms provided by Nato and Germany to 'moderate forces' (AKA ISIS) in Syria are widely reported as being sold by 'moderate rebel soldiers' to pay human smugglers to move the soldiers and their families to Europe as refugees. It is entirely possible that a Canadian 'military advisor' will be killed by a Canadian built sniper rifle and scope, paid for by the Canadian taxpayer.

Good Luck, YMMV.

Nothing wrong with the Kurds. They are just fighting for their freedom.

No beef with Westerners.

I have great sympathy for the Kurds, as I do for all Syrians.

IMHO, Syria is a proxy war, and none of us knows any real truth,
except that blood and treasure is being spilled for evil purpose.

Good Luck, YMMV.

I have nothing against Kurds or Syrians. It is hard to tell who the players are even with a program.
