So.....my grandson and his dad are camping on the Cheakamus River this long weekend. I get this text from his dad.

"Cast himself. .... Hooksett him self and fought the whole way himself on a blade he made last night with me....4th cast"

Congats to your grandson. He doesn't look all that impressed. lol Dad was probably making a big deal out of it, and why not. It's hard to tell, but is that a spring salmon?

It has white gums, thats no spring! Looks more steelhead to me though the picture quality is quite poor.
