Default 30-30 Case dents

I am fairly new to reloading rifle ammo. done lots of pistol with no issues.

Here is a photo of 30-30 Win case I put through the full length resizing/decapping die. Have done some 308 with not a problem. These have dents right at the neckdown of the case. RCBS single stage and RCBS resizing/decapping die. Followed all the set up instructions. Is this an issue or is this normal for this case? Any help would be appreciated. Case on the left has dents one on right is un-sizedIMG_4043.jpg
Thanks,

Default oil dents

Lube more sparingly up to the shoulder and with a Q-tip inside each neck.Load them and shoot them no harm done they will vanish when fired.PS It wouldn't hurt to take the die apart and remove excess lube if any is accumulated. What powder and bullet weight are you loading?

Too much case lube. Only need a light smear. Some of the thick stuff is easy to over apply. Make sure to get a "little" in the case neck. A Q-tip helps.

Take a cleaning patch and remove the decapping rod, clean inside of die well. This will help too but as the others rightly said, too much lube is the biggest culprit.

I use Hornady One Shot spray.
No problems so far since 2010.

I think the petroleum based lubes are the most frequent culprits. Never had an issue with water or wax based lubes.

I think the Lee, water based lube was worst for me, as it's a bit thick. Works well otherwise, but maybe a little water to thin it would help.

I started out with the Lee lube and yes it worked and easy clean up. My brother would thin it with spirits and put in spray bottle for application. Worked great.
But then I got him on to Hornady One Shot.

It's water based, so probably doesn't sting..
