For full retail price including the tax plus 25% for my trouble then yes.
If one cent less then no.

None of the above, Canadian politics is a pendulum...not many things that can’t be reversed by a firearms friendly government.

What would you do with your firearms until that friendly government comes in?

I understand what you are saying, and agree on the method use to advocate for what you believe in ...vote. The poll was meant to just have a little fun with the election around the corner.

In reality if you own a semi such as an AR or any other restricted semi and you don’t turn it in eventually you will get a registered letter followed by a visit from the cops. As far as non restricted semis, I don’t think there are any in Canada except for the few that Mike bought.

So when the government declares some of your firearms illegal, and the next election is three years away, do you become a criminal for three years, waiting for the next election?

Assuming option 1
A better question would be what do you do with the scope, ammunition and all the accessories?

Bolt action .223's could be going up in price.

The Buy Back is a smoke screen, they don't have to, since we have no property rights, just take them. It's happened in the past.

5: Apply to move to Montana as a political refugee. File all proper paperwork with US gov’t for import of said possessions.

Default Reciever

I was thinking about making the buyback deal, $1200 for an empty aluminum AR reciever is a hell of a deal. Thinking on stock piling them!

Can we protest instead like Ukrainians or Hong- Kong people do that won’t let corrupted government to step on their necks?
Actually I seriously concerned what is going to happen?
Taking into consideration incoming huge resession and willingness UN take all guns from civilians all over the world...
And why would our government be so concerned about guns we had for centuries if no body is going to invade Canada?

Move to the US. (It would mean Turdo won the election and there'd be four more years of ever-increasing liberal policies). I'd move back after eastern Canada found some common sense. If that's possible and if there were still a Canadian economy.

You stand a better chance of winning 649 than The Gov't buying back your firearms from you with taxpayer money.

UN, huh?
After that it'll be <500 FPS airguns because "civilians shouldn't need them".

Its called "creeping normality". Google it.

That's my prediction. PM me in 5 or so years about it if this goes on and if we're still here.
