Default 357 resizing help

Trying to resize some once fired brass for the 357 and it is not working. I have lubed them and they only go 1/4 way and then get really tight. I back off. Why are they doing that. I have reloaded 100 38 special no problem. Now trying the 357 and it is just not working.
Any help would be great
Beth

Carbide dies I hope?
Where is the decapping pin set, you may be bottoming out on the expander ball. The other may be your die may be set too low and your topping out in the top of the die.
Without seeing it first hand diagnosis is tough.

I dont think the casing is even going in enough to touch anything. It gets tight right off the bat, not sure whats wrong with it. kelly did about 50 357 a week ago, new brass though. do they expand that much in a 357 to have a hard time resizing them?
