Default Reloder 17 from ATK.

Hot off the presses. This is a double based powder with a burn rate similar to 4350. This might be a reincarnation of H205. 300 short mag afficianadoes, 30:06 heavy bullet guys, and .338 Winchester guys, take note.

We'll probably see it up here about 2 years from now. I have had great success with RL22 in 25-06 and RL19 in the 25 and 338. Would like to try both RL15 and RL17.

Only trouble with Alliant powders is no one carries it in bulk for a decent price.
Of all the US powders Alliant is probably the most expensive, and prone to the worst in supply and demand cycles.

Just bought some RL-10X from P&D. They said they had quite a bit of it in stock.

I have never experienced a supply problem, but when I purchase powder my bank account suffers. I buy lots.
