Default Full Choke

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if you can shoot slugs or buckshot thru a full choke on a 12 guage. I know your not suppose to shoot steel shot but just wondering on this one.

Slugs work best with a cylinder bore, but i know people that have shot them. buckshot works in a full choke.

Yup, you sure can, thousands of deer have been killed with old 12 gauges with fixed full chokes shooting slugs or even buckshot.

Not the ideal set-up, but it will work.

Buy a barrel that is intended for slugs, then you never have to worry about your barrel or receiver shattering in front of you. Some of the older barrels were never intended for slugs or steel shot. Not worth the risk.
