TC Encore

Hey guys just put my leupold vx-III 4.5-14x40 on my heavy barell 300 win mag.Leupold rings and bases here is a quick pic.One more question for all you encore guru's the front of the leupold base has a gap between it and the barrell I realize that is because of the tapper in the barrel but my question is do anyone of you have experence with the leupold rings and bases on the encore? and is that gap going to affect accuracy? thanks bigbore375

I'got a one piece weaver base on my t/c and I know the gap you are talking about. My encore in 243 will shoot under .75" all day, if I do my part, so no problems here.

Just wondering what you think of theTC line. I am contemplating getting one in either 300 or 7mm with a thumbhole stock . Are they accurate in the right hands ? What is the length of pull on that thing ?
