Lynx/ Lynx Cat

Can anyone explain what the difference between a lynx and a lynx cat is ?

from what i have heard , is that a lynx cat is a bobcat, there bellies are black spotted and in big demand now. A lynx is more northern cat.

I do believe that a Lynx Cat is the European version of the north American Lynx.

Trappers call them bobcat while the international fur trade call them lynx cat.
Same deal with marten the international fur trade calls them sable. Just a play on words. Sounds more luxurious to the retail buyer.
