Talking F H Sale

I find it confusing that considering all the hearsay about low demand for furs, because of various European regions are suffering economically, and regional conflicts , That a large percentage of our Canadian furs are 95 % sold IE Beaver for instance , Could it be that they are such a low price these buyers just cannot resist the urge to buy them?
People who can afford to wear furs are realistically never much bothered by the costs, Or so it would seem , because anyone looking into sales in fur stores would have to question why the price has not gone down accordingly.
Just a thought here, BUT if we neglected to trap for one season , would we see a change , Or would the powers that be take this as a indication , that this industry is dead and therefore does not need to be exsistence?
Sort of like farmers saying ok , the price of wheat is too low so this year everyone eats cornmeal for a year, Would we be willing to pay more for wheat?
I find it unbelievable that the North Americans that produce this renewable resourse would be so stupid as to refrain from utilising this item , when we have some of the most rugged winters on the planet?
