With beaver price in the toilet, look to a beaver carcass shortage this season. I'm going to go and get some, but the only reason I am going to beaver trap this spring, or shoot, is so me and my buddies can do a little spring bear baiting ourselves.

It's quite obvious you have no respect. Any beaver on public land is either in a park or on somebodys registered trapline, which is off limits to everybody else, the fur needs to be salvaged and there is a season that needs to be obeyed. If the beavers are on private land you need at the very least the landowners permission. There is no such thing as just grab a .22 and just shoot any beaver. What a disrespect for the animals and the law!!! It's people like you that give the rest of us a bad name.

Default beavers

You nailed it RockyMtn. Well said.
Too many guys out there doing just that, just grabbing a .22 and hitting a creek. And a good way to get a Fish and Wildlife guy on the prod is to use an unskinned beaver at a bear bait.

I will have Beaver this coming spring, I do charge so much a lb , They will be skinned, BUT Anyone wanting to buy will have to be on the ball as far as picking them up , I live in town and have no place to keep them . Bylaw
And I have a chum who will likely have some for sale also . His will be in pails he canned them last fall. So yes they will be ripe , but they are all in plastic sealed pails.
