Default Using or possession of firearms in the USA

I didn't want to hijack the other thread. I am planning a trip to Utah this spring and I am wondering about the laws in regards to using a firearm while I'm there. I am not going hunting and I am not purchasing anything. Can I target shoot? And if I am driving one of their ranch vehicles and there is a firearm in it what implications does it have on me?

Really? Because I tried that and everything I read pertained to importing and exporting. If you have had better luck than I please provide a link or something I would love to read up on it.

A quick search brought up this.

http://wdfw.wa.gov/help/questions/11...S.+citizens%3F

Quote:
A citizen of Canada may carry or possess any firearm so long as he/she possesses: Valid entry documentation, an approved U.S. Department of Justice ATF-6 NIA application and permit for temporary importation of firearms and ammunition by nonimmigrant aliens—if required under federal law, a valid hunting license, or an invitation to participate in a trade show or sport-shooting event being conducted in Washington or in close proximity.

And if you apply for a New Hampshire concealed carry permit, you can conceal in like 25 different states.

What you should do is contact a travel agent, they usually have all that info, and if they don't, they can find it quite easily, I know that my mom owns a travel agency, and she runs across this quite often, a lot more people then you would expect travel with firearms! Elk hunter11 has it summed up pretty good aswell!
