Default DYI hydro dipping kits

I'm thinking of getting one of those hydro dipping kits and dipping my Browning gold 10 gauge
rt now its all black synthetic stock
and solid black barrel and rib ,
which catches the eyes of incoming birds
so I'd like to either do it myself or get it hydro dipped
has anyone ever gone this route ??
what's your opinion on this subject???

Im really intruiged with the hydro dip kit but honestly i dont see why its needed all the people i hunt with myself included all shoot black guns and have never had issues flaring birds. You may find that you still are flaring birds for some reason even after the gun is painted.

I dipped a few rifle sticks that turned out ok, lots of how to YouTube video about it. I just picked up a kit on eBay, had enough film to dip 3 or 4 stocks for around $60..

Default Hydro dip

Usually if you are flaring birds it is because YOU are flaring the birds....with your shiny bright face. Try some face paint or a camo mask.

Had a stock for my tikka dipped by these guys http://www.liquidcustoms.ca Turned out really well and has been quite durable.

Haven't done one of the self dip kits though.

I just contacted liquid. Is the finish reliable? Thinking of dipping my bow limbs for a newly acquired hoyt recurve

Any issues I should know before hand?

Cheers.
