Default What one thing are you grateful for today?

We have been teaching our 5 yr old Grandson to be appreciative of the great things in his life.

So every time he comes over we ask him that question.

So that idea was stuck in my head today as I dug to the bottom of the freezer to find something for lunch.

So-Today I am very very grateful for a Smoked Hoisin Duck Leg!!

What are you grateful for?

Im thankful that at 68 years old im still healthy despite often whining about the slowing down and old age thing. Never spent a day in hospital. Cant believe i complain, particularly when i see so many way worse off.

I'm glad the wind has blown it's self to the off position. 10 days of non stop howling was starting to drive me nuts.

That my newest grand daughter was born healthy and happy 3 weeks ago and that EMS detected that I have a Heart condition that would not have been noticed by my family doctor. The treatment starts now, and I'll be around to travel to Wales to see my grand children.

And for the new trigger Torfi is putting in my Browning XBolt, just in time for my spring bear hunt to Vancouver Island,,,

Nope!

One of the interesting things I have found in life, is that when you are dating several women there seems to a lot of and none of

When you are married there seems to be a lot of this and none of

I was going to go by the user name of Wild and Free when I set up my user name, but another smart chap beat me to it!

Don't take your health for granted boys.....had to wait 2 weeks for biopsy results. Was given a 50-50 chance that I'd have terminal cancer with 2 years to live.....ended up I was on the good 50. Worst 2 weeks a human can go through but man do I appreciate my life a billion times more now that I'm in the clear.

I'm glad I was born and raised in Canada, and Alberta in particular. For all the griping and moaning that goes on about this that and the other, we live in the finest place on earth as far as I'm concerned. Nobody lobbed a single rocket at me today, nobody shot at my kids in a ghetto drive by, my daughters didn't get acid thrown in their face or raped on a bus. We have food, shelter, clean water, great roads hospitals, rule of law, and I have work coming out of my ears.

OH Canada!

Did I mention hockey? I love hockey.
