Default Wolf snaring

Got some questions guys.
What size tree will hold a wolf in a snare?
I have 10 foot snares is that long enough or should I put an extension on them? Are they really much different than a coyote or am I over thinking things?

I've never snared wolves but the biggest thing with snaring is entanglement....make sure there are other trees to get wrapped around.

My guess would be a stout tree , remember these guys can be 4-5 times the size of a coyote . Looking forward to some field photos of catches .

I have snared some on 4" diameter trees and they beat them up bad, i look for 6" min now, there not all that hard to catch once you figure them out, they can frustrate you in the begining, if you ever have time take gordy's wolf snaring course.
