Default North raven

Okay sorry for all my threads lately trying my best to find some decent fishing closest to home (edmonton)

So I decided to try the north raven river tomorrow

Has anyone been there recently?
I've contacted a few places near by and they told me no one has been fishing there lately... Hmm

If your just starting out this is a very difficult body of water for a rookie. Hard to cast, hard to wade. Head out toward the forestry trunk road.

I've fished this river so many times by Caroline and it's only produced one fish. Beautiful river to wade up as there's a nice tree canopy, but it's tough to fish.

easily the toughest river to fish near caroline.. yet to catch one but seen it done more than once. Very nice fish in there.

If you are willing to drive down about 20 min from there you can fish the james river or the clearwater..
