I have a bolt action 30/06 Canadian Industries LTD. Montreal Canada, Made in England C.I.L. Model 972-C that is missing either a base plate and follow up spring or a clip magazine.
If anybody knows where I can buy the parts please let me know. Thank you.

I have a model 972-C as well. My clip is a Parker Hale
Part No 98/223
CAL 30/06 & 270

Have you posted this on gunnutz? It's amazing the parts that people have kicking around. I needed a clip for a Stevens shotgun once, got about 6 replies in a day or two. Great place to seek out obscure parts.
