POL is the correct name but I don't know what that stands for.
It's kinda embarrassing because I have half a dozen of the things just sitting around collecting dust. And I have several in use.
But I don't think that is what he is looking for, He said he has the end that connects to the tank. That's the POL.
I suspect what he is looking for is the end that connects to the hose to the heater.
If so it's simply called a flare fitting. Which covers a wide range of different connectors for adapting the hose to a range of appliances.
I have a can full of those type od connectors. I buy them at any of a number of outlets, basically any place that sells propane appliances and plumbing supplies too.
I've bought them at Peavey Mart, Home Hardware, True Value, and Canadian tire to name a few.
This place lists most of them, you should be able to find the one you want here and use that information to find it in a local store.
