Default Slave lake trip

I find it pathetic that once legal light is up and heading out of the bush here come the spot lighters. It’s 2019 enough of this crap. There should no right to do this. Grab this document and burn it. This had to stop. Makes me sick. It’s not your right. This is just wrong.

Default 24/7 hunters

Seen "Jack liters" coming out of bush a day or two before regular seasons start many times. That is why you almost never see any moose, elk or deer on oil and forestry roads these days.

Who are we to stand in the way of their traditional methods?

No sense trying to manage wildlife, while this is happening. Not good for the future.

100% bang on. Managed numbers would just bring in more camps of the 'keepers of the land'.

Default Not just up north.

I’m dealing with this is 248 right now for crying out loud. And it isn’t the ethnic group you’re eluding you either. Bloody neighbours. As soon as it’s close to the end of legal light, here come the trucks doing laps. Last light. 10:00 PM. 02:00AM.

This isn’t the first time it’s screwed me but yesterday was especially bad. I was at full draw on my target buck and needed him to take 5-6 steps to clear a screen I used to draw. Shot would have been 10-12 yards. He piled on the brakes. Wheeled and went back he way he came. Then the parade of whitetails going by me. Look back to see a truck on the field edge glassing all the flags running away. Thanks bud. There’s a reason all the deer feed over on my side eh.

Sorry for the derail OP. I’ve seen plenty of it on my forays north. Best have a head lamp on coming out of the woods. I’m doing that here ffs.

Just a sign of the times. Nobody cares about anything or anybody but themselves...ethics and morals are a distant memory and respect and fair chase for the animals we try to hunt are toast as well. Glad I had a good 30 years before it went to hell. It's only gonna get worse.😔

no one said it was. If you didnt report it then your part of the problem. As you can see from multiple other posters there are all sorts of idiots doing this.

But go ahead and continue on your rant.

That was sarcasm, I'm sure.

And I use to run into that ALL the time when I hunted in the bowzone. Also got tired in general, of all the rifle hunters poaching in the bowzone, not just the stewards. Finally gave up. They win. Lost the last place I could hunt in the bow zone and not looking for a new one.
My drive to legally hunt among those that either have no regard for the law, or are above the law, gets less and less every year.
I feel for my kids who have yet to start..
