Default Ice conditions at Birch lake?

I was wondering what the ice conditions are like out towards Caroline? Looking to take a friend out who's never been fishing. Wouldn't mind one last trip out this weekend. I will be walking on. As long as I can get on at shore I will make the trip. I would greatly appreciate any updates from the last few days.

Was out at Birch on Sunday, solid 2 feet of ice, able to drive on no problem and if you're walking on you'll be alright for sure!

Suggest you bring your cleats though, not a stitch of snow on the lake, just glare ice!!
