Did the non union rates go down? Or just for the former union guys?

Both rates. When the Union losses it’s power, the Non Union rate will always drop

But it did happen. Do you have any examples when a Union disappeared and the Wages/benefits increased?

Lots of times

Unions allow the bad workers to enjoy a free ride
If your good at what you do your worth way more than your union wage
