Default .303 savage, model 99

Anyone know anything about how it was used, where to get ammunition etc. I may be coming into one handed down to me. I feels nice an balanced and the action is slick but I've yet to fire it.
Any thoughts are much appreciated.

There’s a guy selling the 150 grain Hornady run of ammo on here for 130.00 a box.

I reload for it and have enough cases to last me a long while with the little amount of shooting I do. It’s pretty much a reloaders cartridge nowadays.

Just picked up a set of .303 Sav dies from Townpost, have some brass, so it's off to the reloading bench, looking forward to some shooting fun.
