Who know's how they'll audit all of that - it's going to be an administrative nightmare either way.
For me I rolled the dice. I billed out a few hundred dollars & received payments before they announced all of this - so by the rules, that disqualifies me from the CERB for the 1st month.
To me, that's nonsense. Given then choice between a few hundred dollars or $2000, I know which option i'm going with.
What I hope they do is pro-rate the CERB amounts so that any income made on top of the CERB is paid pack next tax season. I have no issue taking less of the CERB because of a little income, but to be completely disqualified from it is just not going to fly with me.
