Side pouch on one side holds my GPS, other side is my knife. Bottom pouch holds the rangefinder in hunting season and in shed hunting season it holds a snack or some toilet paper...
Been happy with it but am wondering if the Kuiu is really that much better?
I am not super unhappy with the Badlands case (same one you got). The Kuiu (Pro model, their basic model sucks) is just super low profile and made to shed weight more than anything. I can fit a small mouth call in the side pouch and wind checker in the other side. I did not care for the Badlands snap rings as I found them very cumbersome.
I went to a rangefinding bino and did not require that bottom shelf any longer. I lost a set of binos tromping through the deep snow out of my badlands case. I did not like the tethering system and was not using it- big mistake. They bounced out of the pack and I never found them. I am not a fan of how loud the magnets are for bowhunting either.

This video is a pretty unbiased review of Kuiu Pro Bino Harness.

I’ve run this system for a bunch of years and have yet to find a harness as convenient as far as lid and rangefinder attachment. It has a magnetic holder for your rangefinder so you can just stick it to the side of your case in quick situations.

Lots of strong opinions, good work boys for offering to help.

Had the kuiu and a few of the other top brands listed, and hey they all work as advertised.

Bought the marsupial kit for my GF for Christmas, and I am telling you that they are second to none. I have let a half dozen pr so of my hunting buddies take a look at the harness and nearly everyone that has put hands on it has bought one (these are guys that are already running kuiu, AGC, badlands, sitka , and fhf harnesses)

When my spending account has taken care of the big stuff later this year I will be buying 3 of the marsupial harnesses, one for me and 2 for my other hunting bros as gifts.

Oh and I have since bought their spotting scope cover and most of the accessories on their site

I'm happy with my mystery ranch bino harness. I carry my range finder in the side pocket, wind checker in the other side pocket. A buddy has the fhf, but the webbing that goes over the shoulders doesn't look too comfortable under a pack.

Looks like a pretty user friendly setup. Thanks

I love my Alaska guide creations. You'll never go back to a harness bouncing all over the place once you use one.

I keep my binos in the main pouch and my range finder in the front zip pocket. The side zip pockets hold my main headlamp, chapstick, extra batteries for the headlamp and rangefinger, extra small multi-tool, glass cleaning cloth...

I know some guys will say it's too bulky and you don't need all that stuff hanging off of your chest, but not having to dig in my pack whenever I need those things is just too convenient, especially the headlamp.

I don't find shooting prone to be an issue. I don't run a bipod to save weight, so I'll shoot with the front of my rifle off my pack, and unclip the two lower buckles on the harness so I can use it as a makeshift rear bag. Super convenient.

I haven’t seen anyone mention the solo hunter addition bino case! I love them. They sit lower as they are designed for bow hunters but since buying them I liked them so much I use them all the time hunting either rifle or bow. I find the lower sitting position way more comfortable to pull Binos in and out. Also they don’t get in the way at all when shouldering a rifle or drawing back on the bow. They are worth the consideration and come with a handy side pouch for the range finder that is detachable if required.

Some good information on here. Watched a few youtube videos on some of the suggested products. Like the marsupial setup.

For any posters that run a particular brand, care to have a look and see where is't made? I don't care to and won't purchase overpriced gear made in China.
I know the marsupial is made in the US which is a big selling feature to me.

Good to know. Thanks. What "brand" name products are not made in North America?

2nd this. I have friends that want to sell there's to get a marsupial after seeing mine. Their separate range finder pouch sucks though!

There’s a company in the states called Oregon Pack Works and they make some pretty decent bino harnesses. I have a BinoBro for my geovids amd I’m pretty happy with it. It holds snug against my chest and it isn’t ridged so if your prone there’s no bulky discomfort between you and the ground. Waterproof and they provide more protection from dust etc than most others. Binos do not remove/replace from the harness as easily as others tho.

Absolutely love my marsupial set up. I have the bino harness and range finder holster. I also run a mystery ranch bear spray holster and find it very comfortable

Justin I bought Steve Ecklunds NLH bino harness at Wolverine in Red Deer. Pretty darn happy with the system as well as range finder holder.
