Default Home alone?

What say you?

Are you spending Covid19 alone? Or with family members?

I am single.

The wife & I. Thankfully we are both still working steady as well as looking after the home place chores.

I believe very few of us are truly meant to be alone, hope there's someone in your future to share the good & the bad.

PM if you're wanting to chat.

Thanks for the offer. Im ok with being alone but know a couple of guys that I have concerns for. Im easily entertained and have no problem finding things to keep me occupied.

I am concerned for those out there that are by themselves and would encourage them to call a friend or some family.

Same here. Very grateful that she's a good cook.

Might be slowly poisoning me, but it sure is tasty...

Wife runs a small business and goes into town pretty much everyday but locks the door while she is there. She won't let anyone in and even makes the mailman leave packages outside the door then she grabs it when he is back in his truck. The only time she is in public is when we need a few groceries. I get to stay at home alone all day, which suits me fine.

Home alone, like it that way. Still working but it's drying up quick.

Alone-sh. Single, but with 2 Brittanies who are losing their freaking minds. Still going to work every day and working on learning to teach 160 kids without really being able to personally interact with them. I'd WAY rather have them in my classroom; most of them would rather be at school, if only to be with their friends and away from their parents.

My wife and I have two college-age sons at home, a daughter out on her own. I work up near GP, two weeks in/out. While I am at home now, we're living pretty close to home. My wife is a tremendous cook, the dog has never been walked so much and we are definitely making the most of it.
I tried some jerky batches out, Netflix has been taking a pounding and I try to do my part in keeping the place clean.
Best wishes to all, this will end at some point!

Just me, my wife, a dog and a bird.
Wife is great, she's gaining weight.

Don't mind the isolation, it comes with the territory. In fact It's why we moved here.

Been to town three times in the past thirty days. I love our little town, no one screaming obscenities at us for being out in public. Everyone we encountered offered a friendly Hi! People smiling and stepping out of the way to maintain the recommended distance.

We may be rednecks but respectful, reasonable rednecks.
One store had placed a table in front of the till to make maintaining the appropriate distance easy.
Gotta love the resourcefulness of some people.

Even did a bit of visiting, all be it from 6 feet away.

I kinda like this, not having to smell Charlies garlic breath and all.

Me and the wife retired, no dogs cats rats or birds, after being together for 45 years we have both learned when we need a bit of a break, I can hide in the garage at my loading bench or in the basement.

I walk twice a day and am up to 7 - 8 km daily now, the exercise and fresh air is good for me.

The house has never been so clean and the smell of bleach and pine sol is the norm, groceries once a week at 7 AM first guy in and am out in 15 minutes or less, I like to cook and she likes to bake, have not seen the kids or grandkids in 3 weeks except on face time, but do leave stuff on their door step regularly, as they say it's Papa's skip the dishes delivery again.

My daughter and my daughter in law are both in the health care system so they have been running their butts off, hence the reason Papa does the skip the dishes thing.

I worry about them every day as they are working on the front lines, I pray that when this is over we all still have the ones we love close by us.

Take care and be safe my friends
Ed

Just me and the girl friend at home. She works in the health industry, and me in the transportation industry. Both essential services.

Staying home other than walking the dogs. Went out fishing in March, no plans for that right now.

I've been a bachelor for so long self isolation is a breeze. Luckily I have a phone and internet to engage with people. I was thinking I should offer a course in how to keep amused when you are alone. I'm sure many are truly struggling with the concept and reality.

Just the wife and me at home now. There's always a lot to do around the house, unfortunately it usually involves cleaning.

Waiting for the snow to melt so that we can get out in the yard, start the garden.
Built a bird feeder. Hopefully, it's squirrel/ grackel proof. B**tards.

Staring at the boat, waiting for open water, hoping for accessible launches.

Realized long ago that the solitary life is for me. This isolation is better yet. Still working but not sure for how long. Those who have trouble with isolation; be patient, it has merits.
Gonna let off some 30 caliber steam at the range this weekend. Can't wait.

Myself, wife, 22 yr old son who just got laid off, 20 yr old daughter who was about to do school upgrading. Wife working from home for over 2 weeks now. The 3 of them home all day and they seem to be more on edge this week

I can still leave for work

Moved some bird houses off the shed and into my big tree so I can redo the
shed roof without disturbing the nests. Garage is cleaned, sleds and gear packed away. I guess its house projects now till the snow melts.
