Rifleman TV :shooting from the road
Just watched an episode labeled "black bear beatdown". I think this Jordan Walsh kid will have some questions to answer. Shot a bear around a bend on a road. He was on the road as was the bear.
Next hunt one guy shoots it and 2nd finished it. I guess as long as the second guy has a tag and uses it it's legit.
Anyone else watch this 2020 episode from their epic Northern Alberta bear hunt?

Rifleman
I’ve seen that Jordan Walsh kid before, and I think he is a goof. He just gives hunting a bad name. But then again most of the “hunters” on these t.v. channels are a laugh.

He is a goof, but have you seen the host of The Real Deal?

Terrible show but it'd be hard to pick the worst. The girl on Canada Hunts East. This Walsh doofus. Kohler. The kid down south on Prairie Pursuit that never shuts up.
It's got to where I can only really watch Shockey and Rinella.

Jordan Walsh was a jack $$s when he was on rawhide hunting and now on the rifleman he is worse, the kid is clueless and really gives hunting and hunters a bad name, can't believe he gets sponsors, they must be desperate for cheap TV advertising. " Rawhide hunting baby.. elk down wahoo baby "

I have not watched a hunting show in 20 years. I wont give the instagram celebrities the time. They are in my opinion destroying hunting in it's TRUE form. They are marketing *****s, who want to be Instagram celebrities. Not hunters.
They are the reason designer camo is a thing.
Why tacticool hunting rifles are a popular
Why 500 yards is a "reasonable" shot for the average hunter
Why everyone always shoots 1/2" groups with hunting rifles
(Even if it was 2 years ago)
Why people spent all their time worrying about their gear, not getting outside and learning how to hunt.
Wow. I think I blacked out there for a second!
Ya, I dont watch hunting shows.
I hate marketing!

I have found one pod cast that I can stomach.
Trad Quest
is the podcast. The guys are blacktail, Rosey elk hunters from Oregon. They dont rein down their wisdom, but get real trad hunters some of which are legends on from all over Canada and the us.
Even if you dont hunt with trad gear. These guys and the guys they talk to have a passion for hunting and learning that is missing in too many hunting communities.

Rinella’s show is the one and only show that I will try to make the time to watch. It’s a great show. I don’t care much for Shockey. Anybody who is that concerned about always having the camera on him, seems to have an ego as big as the Yukon. I know a guy that guided for him, and he said he quit after the first season. Said he was a totally different bird when the cameras weren’t rolling. Sad he would never go back. The rest of these hunting shows just make me shake my head and dive for the remote.

Apparently Huntnstuff is coming out of retirement to guide for Jim Shockey's outfit again this fall., He can't be all that bad ( Shockey I mean!)

I always see that Ryan Kohler gets slammed on social media. I must be missing something on this one? He seems like a decent guy and I thought the episodes hunting the Edmonton bow zone for Whitetail were really good. Might not agree on shooting/wounding multiple deer but the grind of a whitetail season was portrayed real well.

I don't watch hunting shows and I didn't watch this one.
Isn't it legal to shoot on or from a road if the road is not a maintained one?
Asking for a friend.
