Hands down the easiest whitefish lake to score on.
Pretty good size there at times too.
And so close to Calgary

What is your favourite southern Alberta lake to fish whitefish and why (I.e., size, numbers, accessibility......)?
I will start;
Sylvan because of numbers
I guess no one wants to tell you. I would call Sylvan Central and not southern and I do agree with you. I haven't fished any of the southern lakes or res. yet.
P.S. Frank lake is just a slough for birders. Bring your binnocs if you go
Frank lake - so close to High River. Who would have ever thought a high whitefish population
Keep your damn fishing line out of my duckpond
I hate it when people don't wanna share...

Thanks .243Dude. I don't expect the your honey holes location and just the general info.
About the whitefish my vote goes to Travers. Although I got some from Lake McGregor. Last spring I got one whitefish from Badger lake(near the pump station).
