Default How often do you shoot?

Just wondering how often some of you shoot. Do you go to the range once a week or more or less? How many rounds do you usually go through at the range. Do you spend hours there, or just enough time to get a few groupings from some recent loads?

had to re-read that one

On average since I got a membership, maybe twice a week. Not enough but my aim is getting better. I'm not rushing my shots as much even though the targetting process is taking less time.

I'll shoot a group of three or four, get up, glass the target, walk around, see what other's are firing, come back, another three or four, and I'll go through twenty rounds with a 308 then 50 with the 17. Now there's a shotgun so another station to work with. Hopefully the 32 will show up soon so i can alternate the 308 and 32 and keep the barrels cooler. the whole process takes a few pleasant hours.

Not often enough!!

I get out with the 22 every few weeks. With the centerfires I am lucky if its every couple months, since they are so infrequent they are usually long affairs with multiple guns. I shot 8 3 shot groups with my 308 and couple boxes of 223 at my last range session with a bunch of 22 in between while my guns cooled.

I hope to have a range membership next year and plan on being out every couple of weeks working on my shooting and tweeking loads but those sessions will probably be alot shorter.

I might get out once every 2 weeks if it's nice enough.

I plan on going through a box of .308, 200ish .22 out of target rifle, 300ish out of .22 handgun. When I go.

I'd like to get out more often but it usually doesn't work out.

I average about a flsat of trap and skeet ammo a week, sometimes a bit more - works about about every other day.
centre fire ammo , about three times a month at the moment.

I try to get out at least one a week, or as many times a week as hitler will let me.

Once a week at least lately. If its just me I'll spend an hour or two rotating groups through 4 guns and writing down info so my forgetful brain doesn't forget what I shot where (just took up reloading and playing with loads). If its me and one of the kids it can be half a Sunday shooting the center fires then heading to the the rim fire range for some spinner action. If the wind stays down I'll be there tonight shooting my latest reloads.

Try to get out at least once a week with the CF rifles, but beyond that I'll take as much as I can get!

Hahahaha, I'll leave this one alone as someone will probably read any comment I leave, which will get me into trouble. I myself just got a range membership in Onoway and would like to shoot couple times a month and maybe a bit more when I'm teaching the kids to shoot.

I likely average once a week, shooting around 200 shotshells at trap and skeet, 100 or so rounds of rimfire, probably 50 rounds centerfire rifle, and 50 rounds of handgun. If I have a new rifle to work up loads for, I will usually be at the range two or three times per week.

Not as much as I would like. Once every two weeks if the weather is agreeable usually 100 rounds of .17 hmr, 300 rounds .22, 50 rounds 9mm and 20 rounds of 22-250 usually takes 4 hours give or take I shoot less if the range is busy.

You'll find me at the range every sunday untill the hunting season opens up,shooting mostly the .223 and .22 rimfire.I do shoot my hunting rifles as well but not so often as I don't enjoy recoil as much as I used to.I'm gonna start going down to the weekend fivestand trap shoots soon as my shotgun gets here as well.I hope I don't get as addicted as catnthehat tho...
