Default Archery ranges in rocky area

Does anyone know of any archery ranges around the rocky area? I would like to get a bit of practice all spring and summer. I seriously doubt the landlord would like it if I set up a target in the buildings hallway .

I do believe that the Rocky Range has an archery area as well.. If you been there instead of going to the right to the rifle range, it is straight ahead, maybe slightly to the left. But I do believe it is for Archers. Check with Timber Creek of Ram River they will tell you right quick.

I have used the one target they had set up there. It was okay but pretty worn out. I would like something a little nicer if possible.

you could take your own target out there.... If nothing else it would be a place to shoot.

I thought the Rocky range was pretty good. They have a course that you can walk through, and there are a dozen or so targets hung off in the trees for you to shoot at. Its pretty chalenging, I lost a couple of arrows. There was a group from the rocky archery club there when i was shooting. They were there making new targets to hang up in the trees.

Is there a well used trail to these targets? Never noticed them when I was there. I guess I will have to investigate. sounds like a lot of fun!

Its off to the left of the archery range, I never noticed it before either, untill I ran in to the guys from the club, and they told me to try it out. The trail makes a big loop and comes back to the parking area. A few of the targets were missing when I tried it, but they were making more to put out. Im not sure what condition the trail and targets would be in this time of year. I would recommend wearing hunting boots, their were a few wet spots on the trail.
