Default Fast Flight bowstring in Canada?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to replace the stock string on my recurve with a flemish fast flight string.

So far I've found some on Amazon as well as 3Riversarchery, but shipping is $30 in addition to the $30 string - seems like way too much to me.

Any ideas on some more local suppliers?

Thanks in advance

J

Default Fast flight

Call dennis at get r done archery he might help you out. Calgary archery Center will have some maybe.

i buy all my strings from champion custom bowstrings, owned by Chad Weaver (662-231-4817) he ships them in an envelope and shipping isn't 30 bucks I can tell you that! You'll find these to be the best bowstring you've ever had so order two or more.

$30 shipping? For a string? Mine come in a padded envelope, for around $10-12.

There are much better choices in material than Fast Flight. Fast flight is like buying bias ply tubeless tires from the 60's or 70's for your vehicle.
FF was the first generation of modern string materials after Dacron.
I use Dynaflight 97 for all my strings. Many like 8125, and several others from the modern materials available today. There are lots of better choices than FF to choose from.

Thanks for the reply Pete - to be honest I'm super new to archery and 'fast flight' gets thrown around on forums like Kleenex as if its a brand

I'm just after an upgrade from the dacron string that came with my bow. Where did you get your Dynaflight from?

I get my compound Strings from 60XCustomStrings. They are in Pennsylvania, not sure if they do traditional Strings?
