Default Birthday bull for my special lady(lots of pics)

Well my girlfriend likes fly fishing too so I made it my mission to get her hooked into some bulls for her birthday , she was super happy when she did and now she wants to go catch more and show me up haha . I don't know about that ......lol I've been practicing
my drop shot nymphing teqnique the whitefish , it was crazy to watch all the whitefish get chased to shore by big trout, even the Bulls would get chased in by the others lol it's pretty easy to get a double header just toss ur fly to the other trout when somebody hooks one , this hole seemed overly stacked , no juvenile Bulls. this is me with a better sized white I think some ppl eat these ... Can anyone comment on how they taste? I heard they have a lot of worms.

They ain't bad, part of the salmonoid family a little like trout, lake whites a little oilier though.

Nice looking fish. Not looking for exact spots but what river is this if you don't mind me asking? Looks like a beauty place to spend a day fishing

Also might I say, good job holding the fish! She looks like she knows what she's doing! Only release one of those catches

Nice work!

Whities are best smoked (as they are oily and boney)

That's a nice looking bull. I have never caught one before but in almost all the pictures I've seen they seem to have a large head and a relatively skinny body. That one looks awesome, congrats.

Mountain whites from a relatively clean stream are delicious! Not oily, wormy and bony in my experience (not any bonier then a trout). I fillet, coat with flour, egg and panko then pan fry! Smoked would be excellent as well. Mmmmm. I think lake whites may have worms in certian locations.

Interesting, makes me Wana try one. That's really the only way I'll eat fish no room in the fly vest for packing fish tho lol
