Default Cable cutters

Thinking about the up coming bird season. Hutterites around here are big into snaring coyotes. Looking for cable cutters to protect the dogs, will either of these two work for a one time application? Thanks.

Go to Halford Hide's online catalog and on page 104 there is a pair of cable cutters. Buy them.

Get these ones from princess auto SKU: 8380677. They are under wire cutters.
Enjoy your time in the field with your dogs

I use the red handled ones that they sell for less than $10, have used em steady on my line for 2 years and no issues .I can lose them just as easy as an expensive pair ..lol .I bought a pair for my son in law and he packs them whenever he hunts birds .

Felco small cable cutters will cut up to 1/4 inch cable. Princess Auto has a Chinese knockoff that will serve for occasional use. SKU: 8380677
Will go through snare cable like it was butter.

Yup. I picked up a pair of cutters after I read about a woman's dog being snared and killed out near Bragg Creek I think. I got these:
