Fishing lodge for your honeymoon????
Please use the money and go enjoy yourself in the Mayan Riviera at an adults only all inclusive resort.
This is what you're looking for.

Plenty of time in life to fish. Trust me!

Winefred lake outfitters. Personal cabins to rent with boat rentals or bring your own. Not an all inclusive setup but it is pretty awesome and tough to beat. Has all the amenities of home other than tv and phone service which is a plus.

Depending on what you're looking to catch, there are a few options.
Personally I'd look at lodges on Great Bear lake for some big pike and Lakers. If you're not set on Alberta or Saskatchewan, and you want to stay someplace special, it's not a wilderness lodge, but it's a huge 3 story Victorian style house, on 10 private acres overlooking the Fraser River valley, complete with a chef that comes in to cook for you, and maids that clean for you, and an outdoor hot tub. Contact Vic at STS Guiding Service and book a trip sturgeon, salmon, trout or steelhead fishing and tell him you want to stay at the "Above and Beyond". It's also just a short drive to Harrison Hot Springs.
PS, the bed in the master bedroom on the top floor is HUGE , and it has a spectacular view out of the jacuzzi tub in the ensuit.

Iskwatikin lake lodge in sask, drive to LaRonge and then a short fly in. Very good pricing.
Awesome cabins and hosts. Giant water fall exits lake and would be great for pictures on your honeymoon

I've been there. Although the fishing is quite a bit better than average, the accommodations are below average. IMO.

Sounds good. I was just letting her know the accommodations aren't really that great, especially for a honeymoon trip. But the fishing is pretty good and the owner is friendly. How long have you been fishing there?

Nice. How's the moose hunting? How would a person get their meat back home?

Also, for fly-in lodges, Indian head camps on Lake Athabasca is Phenomenal and first rate, as well I had a great time last year at Arctic Lodges on Reindeer Lake, Sk. Both top quality fisheries and very nice resorts.

Surprised no one has said Fortress Lake yet, fly in, beauty setting, big brookies, 5 star chefs.

Second Fortress Lake, it's the best lodge I've stayed at. Great staff, accommodations are nice with flush toilets and a hot water shower. Fishing is good, scenery is beautiful with hiking trails if you decide to take a break from fishing. Just remember it's a high mountain lake, so no matter when you go be ready for anything, I would definitely recommend lots of rain gear and very warm clothing. We had one day that was +15-20, and 3 days that were about +10 with a brutal wind and cold rain.
