Default Fiesta and Beaver Lakes ??

I'm thinking about driving up to Fiesta and Beaver Lakes in the Caroline area this week. Has anyone fished them yet this year ? If so how was it ? It will be my first time fishing lakes in that area. Thanks for any help

Pay attention to what bugs are on the water. I usually do well on leeches at both lakes. Might pick up some casting and retrieving damsel fly nymphs as well. There also should be some chrionomid hatches this time of year. A throat pump is a good idea to have on hand. Good luck

Default Fiesta and beaver

Also pay attention to the birds, swallows to be precise, they find the hatches first. Follow the swallows. Take along some size 10 water boatmen, brown, grey, and tan seem to work. Good luck.
