Default Float Glenmore Bridge to Policeman

Thinking of doing a float tomorrow, Friday, from Glenmore bridge to Policeman, in drift boat. I have floated Policeman to McKinnon many times but never this stretch in the city. Can you please tell me 1/ Is it a reasonable float for a day of fishing? 2/ How the take out is at Policeman (rumors was that it is difficult to negotiate)? 3/ Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yeah, its pretty doable. Haven't done it sincelate March when we were dragging the boat over the ice at Police. As for the takeout, as long as you pay attention you'll be fine. Bow River Trout's work last year made it safer, and apparently they did some more work a few weeks ago. If you can row the rest of the river you'll be fine there. Good luck on the fishing.
