Default 22 250 loads

Thinking of doing some reloading for my 22 250. Anyone have any favourite coyote loads?

H380 and 55gr Hornady VMAX cant' find my data for the powder charge but I was getting 1/2" accuracy foe 5 shots and my velocity was over 3800fps. Nailed a yote at 450yards with that load a few years back.

Varget works well in all 22-250s that I have tried it in.

Default IMR 4895 works

what twist rate in your rifle? My Browning 14 twist and Brno 12 twist both like 31 grains of IMR 4895 but they prefer slower velocities. 3400 fps for the Hornady sxsp used to have a warning not to exceed 3600 or they could vaporize. Used them for years as most pelt friendly bulllet I have found. Also heard good things about varget just in short supply most of the time around here. supposed to be really stabile at cold temps but last I heard VArget made in Australia and they are backordered many metric tons production.

IMR 3031 and plain ol Hornady 50gr sp has shot very, very well in the two 22-250s I load for and have killed many coyotes.

Cheap and easy to find components and kills well.

40 grains of varget or rl-15 behind a 36gr varmint grenade, both shoot under 3/4" in my tikka t3 varmint
